- The certificate is valid for 3 years.
- All Health Departments recognize the following services that provide DC Food Handlers examinations: Educational Foundation of the National Restaurant Association (ServSafe) – The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals – Experior Testing – Prometric Testing
- Passing one of three accepted Food Handler Training Programs. You will receive a nationally recognized certification after passing an 80-question exam.
